My Story

Now in my forties, I came to the stock market late — close to thirty — through an interest in the different pillars of financial independence: real estate and the stock market.

The market immediately fascinated me — that's my scientific side coming through! I fell in love with computers back in secondary school and became a software engineer in the early 2000s. So the stock market — where you love to dig into subjects, understand things, test hundreds of hypotheses, retry, pivot — was a perfect fit.

And it even let me become a developer again, creating automated strategies and custom indicators — something I had long since stopped doing in my salaried career, where I had become a project manager.

Rest assured: you don't need to be as passionate as I am, or mathematically gifted, or a programmer, to succeed in the markets — whether in manual trading or, even more so, with automated strategies!

I spent thousands of hours consuming charts, trying hundreds of different indicators and strategies. I read dozens of books on markets, trends, patterns, and renowned investors. I spent thousands of euros on courses and subscriptions.

And you know what? For months and years, I made plenty of mistakes, lost thousands of euros, and learned an enormous amount — about the market and its techniques, but also about myself. Because the stock market is a great revealer of emotions, character, and one's relationship with money.
